Sky has confirmed a major update, which now includes all of the most popular streaming apps for a new low monthly price. The new subscription plan, which will be available to new and current customers, will include premium services such as Disney+, Netflix, Hayu and the upcoming HBO Max app for just £24 per month. That price even has access to plenty of Sky channels such as Sky Atlantic.

It’s decent value with Sky promising users will get £20 worth of streaming apps for less. In fact, a current basic Sky plan costs £15 per month, so all of that extra content is available for just £9 more.

Those who join also gain access to over 130 channels, including Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, Sky History, plus many more.

Sky Cinema users get another bonus with an exclusive and dedicated Disney movie service being added to the planner

This will show a swathe of films from the famous firm without needing to launch the Disney+ app. Existing Disney+ customers who subscribe directly to Disney+ can also move their current subscription, including Standard and Premium plans, to Sky and retain their profile and watch history.

Sky has confirmed that those who sign up to the new plan will get easy access to all the apps right from the homepage. Content will also be fully integrated, which means shows can be easily found via voice search and added to the Playlist function.

The new Sky Ultimate option will be available for all users, including those with Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q.
