All those killed were assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command in Des Moines, lowa.
Three of the other six service members have been named as:
Joey Amor, Sgt Amor’s husband, said that the last month had been a state of “constant concern,” The Associated Press reported.
“You could see it in the movements. She knew something was coming, she just didn’t know what scale,” he said.
She was moved off-base to a shipping container-style building a week before the drone attack and her husband said the building had no defences.
“They were dispersing because they were in fear that the base they were on was going to get attacked and they felt it was safer in smaller groups in separate places,” Mr Amor added.
The couple exchanged messages about two hours before she was killed, joking back and forth.
“She just never responded in the morning,” he said.
