Steam Spring Sale countdown – start time, dates and best of the early discount deals | Gaming | Entertainment

We can’t believe how quickly time flies, but we’re about to welcome the first major Steam sale of the year. Hot on the heels of the Tower Defence Fest, and the February Next Fest, the Steam Spring Sale has a March 19 start date for PC gaming fans. The Steam Spring Sale starts at 5pm GMT UK time, or 10am PDT / 1pm EDT if you live in the US. That’s 6pm CET for European shoppers. The sale runs for one week only, meaning it ends at 5pm GMT on March 26.

The Spring Sale will feature discounts on hundreds of games, from triple-A blockbusters to indie hits.

Some games have even been discounted ahead of the big event, including Star Wars Jedi Survivor.

The Star Wars action game is reduced from £53.99 to just £5.39, which is a massive 90% saving. Predecessor Jedi Fallen Order is even cheaper, costing just £2.79.

Other games discounted ahead of the Spring Sale include Split Fiction, which is down to £27.99.

Hogwarts Legacy, meanwhile, is reduced by 85%, taking the price down from £49.99 to £7.49.

Football fans can also make some savings, as games like EA FC 26 is down to £17.99.

Other major games that have received discounts include Grand Theft Auto 5, which currently costs £19.79.

Elsewhere, Lords of the Fallen costs £8.24, Satisfactory is priced at £23.45, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is £17.49, and Atomfall is £22.49.

Many of these discount deals are expected to carry over to the Steam Spring Sale, alongside hundreds of others.

The Steam Spring Sale will be followed by the House & Home Fest on March 30, the Hidden Object Fest on April 9, and the Medieval Fest on April 20.

The next major sale is the Steam Summer Sale on June 25.
