This beautiful town has gained the attention of British tourists looking to enjoy a staycation at home. Located in the north of England, this seaside spot is sees less crowds than more popular coastal spots like Cornwall but it’s still a great place to visit.

Morecambe has been named by Host Unusual as one of the best seaside towns, and it’s not surprising to see it make the list. Morecambe, in Lancashire is most famous for being home to the largest area of intertidal mudflats in the UK.

Another popular place to visit in the area is Happy Mount Park which was originally created in the 1920s as a traditional urban park area.
