Alquézar is a stunning medieval village in the Huesca province of the Aragon region in northeastern Spain. 

Nestled in the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees and overlooking the scenic Vero River Gorge, Alquézar is a popular destination for those looking to experience both Spanish history and natural beauty.

The village is characterised by its narrow, winding streets, stone houses and medieval feel.

One user said: “We were passing close to Alquezar on a road trip and decided to drop by. We’d read about Pasarelas del Vero so we thought we’d give it a go.

“It was really cool, amazing views and an amazing feat to build the walkways. We were glad we went when it wasn’t too busy as this made it even more enjoyable. You can grab some great food in Alquezar afterwards whilst watching the Griffin Vultures souring overhead.”

A second user said: “Plaza Rafael Ayerbe is one of some little squares located in the old town of Alquézar, a tiny and Middle-Ages town in Huesca Region, in the North of Spain. If you walk around the old town, I am sure you see it, a very tiny square, where you can see very beautiful buildings. In fact, it is a porticoed square, where you can feel old ages.”
