Iran has sent the US a 10-point plan to end the war, according to Axios reporter Barak Ravid, citing an unnamed US official.

The official called the response “maximalist”, Ravid reports, and it was unclear if it would allow a diplomatic solution to move forward.

According to an IRNA correspondent, after two weeks of comprehensive reviews, Iran has conveyed its response to the US proposal for ending the war to Pakistan. 

Iran rejected a ceasefire and emphasised the necessity of a permanent end to the war. This response includes a set of Iranian demands, including an end to hostilities in the region, a safe passage protocol through the Strait of Hormuz, reconstruction, and the lifting of sanctions.
