The long-awaited Wicked: For Good is finally here, leaving musical enthusiasts wondering when they can get their hands on the eagerly anticipated soundtrack.

Wicked has become a cultural sensation over the past year, captivating both cinema-goers and musical fans with its film adaptation of the iconic Broadway show.

The first instalment, which premiered in November 2024, raked in nearly $750 million at the global box office, making it the most successful musical adaptation to grace the big screens.

Now, the second part, Wicked: For Good, is available for viewing, with the much-anticipated film screening in cinemas worldwide from today, Friday, November 21.

However, what fans are still pondering is precisely when they will be able to acquire the music for part two.  

Fortunately, the wait is over as the Wicked: For Good soundtrack’s launch coincides with its worldwide cinematic release, coming out today, November 21.

All 12 tracks from the second film will be accessible on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music, and ready to buy as a CD or vinyl.

While all songs from the first film were taken from the stage show, two new original pieces have been added to the second half, crafted by composer Stephen Schwartz.

The first, No Place Like Home, is performed by Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, and the second, The Girl in the Bubble, is sung by Ariana Grande’s Glinda.

Discussing her song, Erivo told Variety: “When we filmed it, the entire crew was in tears.

“I hope audiences are ready – it’s a song that speaks to the heart of who Elphaba is.”

Wicked: For Good is now available to watch in cinemas.
