This quaint little town in the heart of Wiltshire has been crowned as having one of the best tea rooms in the UK.

Bradford-on-Avon, located near the border with Somerset, has a small population of just 10,405 in the 2021 sensus and can be traced back to Roman origins.

Made up of historic buildings, shops, pubs and restaurants, it’s a popular spot for tourists looking for a relaxing getaway.

And according to The Culture Ties, it also has one of the best tea rooms in the whole of England.

The Bridge Tea Rooms, located on Bridge Street in the heart of the town, it offers a relaxing atmosphere with classical music playing throughout the eatery.

The town also has great transport links, with the M4 and M5 just a stones throw away.

For those looking at staying for a long weekend, the nearest city Bath is just a short trip away. There are trains that take just 13 minutes or it’s a 20 minute drive away.

The town is also a great starting point for visiting attractions like Stourhead, Dyrham Park, Avebury, Longleat, Stonehenge and Old Sarum to name just a few.
