You can now stay at AirBnb that looks just like Love Actually getaway | UK | Travel

A breathtaking English getaway has left people speechless – and been compared to the stunning home of Colin Firth‘s character in Love Actually.

Every now and then it is important that we take some time to rest and recover from our every day stresses. Whether it is busy family life, work commitments or a social calendar which has left you exhausted, it might be time to book a mini break. While travellling abroad is great, the UK has so much to offer and can often be a cheaper alernative.

Actor and content creator Katie went viral after insisted that the Dragonfly Cabin at Crafts Hill Barn Boutique is the best Air BnB she has ever stayed in. She said the spot is “so lovely” and “dreamy”.

The beautiful rustic suite, owned by married couple Jo and Tim, is based in a former working farm in Dry Drayton, Cambridge. The Dragonfly Cabin has its own private wild swimming lake, outdoor living, firepits and a stunnning garden space.

There is a kitchen spa stocked with coffees, hot chocolate, tea and flapjacks upon arrival and breakfast is delivered every morning.

You can also get spa treatments at your lodge and it is just a short drive away from Cambridge centre, or you can hire electric bikes from the farm. There is also mulled wine being served in the workshop at the site over winter. “Help yourself to a glass on arrival,” the owners said.

Speaking on Crafts Hill Barn’s TikTok page, Jo said: “Slow down and immerse yourself in nature. Our Dragonfly Cabin is the perfect Autumn escaoe, you can watch the leaves fall into the swimming pond or dive through them if you’re feeling brave!”

She added: “If you’re looking for a tranquil stay, our cosy cabin is perfect. Right at the edge of a wild swimming pond, surrounded by nature but only an hour from London.”

Visitor Katie has raked in over 200,000 views on her video after sharing a sneak peak inside the Dragonfly Cabin. She insisted the experience was “so healing”.

One individual commented and said: ” This reminds me of love actually when Colin Firth stays to write his books!”

“I want to take myself on a solo date here,” another suggested. “Wow this is incredible,” a third observed.

Others dubbed the space as tranquil and beautiful, as well as charming.

Co-owner Jo warned that the space gets booked up quickly and there are only a few spaces left open before Christmas time. Summer dates should be available to book soon.
